Acquisitions in County Cork, Ireland

Iron Mountain Incorporated has acquired Wisetek, an IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider headquartered in Cork, Ireland. The acquisition expands Iron Mountain’s Asset Lifecycle Management capabilities and global footprint in secure ITAD, data sanitisation, reuse and electronics recycling.

Turner Construction, a HOCHTIEF Group company, has acquired 100% of Dornan, an Irish-headquartered advanced-technology engineering specialist with ~1,000 employees and a EUR 1.1 billion backlog. The deal expands Turner’s engineering capabilities and scale across Europe to serve complex data-center, pharmaceutical and other high-tech projects.

Belgian recruitment platform Jobtoolz, part of ISH, has acquired Hirehive, an Ireland-based SaaS applicant tracking system (ATS). The deal expands Jobtoolz/ISH's geographic ATS footprint and brings Hirehive's ~350+ customers across the UK, Ireland and the US into the ISH portfolio.

Sterling Pharma Solutions, a GHO Capital portfolio company, has completed the acquisition of the Novartis API manufacturing facility in Ringaskiddy, County Cork, Ireland. The 111-acre site (with ~350 transferred employees and extensive commercial-scale API production capacity) expands Sterling's European manufacturing footprint and includes an ongoing supply agreement with Novartis.

Healthcare 21 (part of AddLife AB) has acquired O'Flynn Medical Ltd., an independent medical equipment distributor and rental/service provider headquartered in Macroom, County Cork. The bolt-on expands Healthcare 21’s rental capabilities, gives the group an entry into the bariatric segment, and strengthens HC21/AddLife's presence across Ireland and the UK; O'Flynn Medical will continue to trade under its existing name and remain headquartered in Macroom.
