FotoNation's founders and senior management have completed a management buyout of the company’s chip-level hardware, firmware and imaging business, returning control to longtime executives. The move reunites FotoNation's leadership to focus on next-generation edge AI imaging (chiplets, ultra-low-power inference) and to target markets including surveillance, IP cameras, drones and mobile devices; the assets were divested by Tobii following its earlier acquisition of Xperi’s imaging business.

BHSL, an Irish waste-to-value environmental management company, has agreed to acquire Glan Agua — a leading water and wastewater solutions group based in Loughrea, County Galway. The acquisition (subject to CCPC approval) brings Glan Agua's turnkey water, MEICA and UK operations into BHSL's platform to expand its capability across water and wastewater services and support further growth across the UK and Ireland.
