Pyrotek Special Effects, a Gladstone Investment portfolio company, acquired Unique Pyrotechnic, a Nordic special effects provider, with additional capital provided by Gladstone Investment Corporation. The acquisition expands Pyrotek's live special effects footprint in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and broadens its global network of offices.

Overture Promotions, backed by Canadian private equity firm Westbridge Capital, has acquired Brandon, a Gothenburg-based provider of brand merchandise. The deal makes Brandon the first non-North American addition to the newly formed Overture Marketing Group and is intended to expand Overture's global footprint and service capabilities.

PSG Equity is investing more than €100 million to acquire a majority stake in Visit Group, a Gothenburg-based hospitality SaaS provider. The capital will support Visit Group’s next phase of organic and inorganic growth across the Nordics and beyond; founder and management will remain significant shareholders.

Schaeffler AG has completed the acquisition of Ewellix, a Gothenburg-based global manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions, from Triton Fund V. Triton had acquired the business as a carve-out from SKF in 2018 and repositioned Ewellix with streamlined operations, digital investments and an expanded global footprint prior to the sale.

TA Associates completed a majority growth investment in Elos Medtech AB, acquiring a controlling stake via a public offer that tendered approximately 79.5% of the company’s share capital. Elos Medtech, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a full-service contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) serving dental, orthopaedic and life science customers with facilities in Sweden, Denmark, China and the U.S.
