Industrial Services Acquisitions in Rhode Island

RelaDyne has acquired Ocean State Oil, a North Kingstown, Rhode Island-based distributor of lubricants and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The deal expands RelaDyne's Northeast footprint, adding Rhode Island to its network and strengthening distribution and service capabilities for automotive, commercial and industrial customers in the region.

US Dock & Door (USDD), a service platform backed by Soundcore Capital Partners, has acquired Garage Headquarters, a family-owned provider of residential and commercial overhead garage doors and related services in southeastern New England. The acquisition expands USDD's service capabilities and footprint into the Northeast while preserving the Grace family's legacy and existing distributorship relationships.

Easton Select Group, a PE-backed national pool services platform, has acquired New England Aquatics, Inc., a West Warwick, Rhode Island-based commercial pool repair and maintenance specialist. The deal expands Easton Select's capabilities into commercial pool services (municipal, institutional, hospitality) while the New England Aquatics team will remain in place and continue operating under its brand.

Source Capital has made an equity investment in Rapid Prep, a provider of surface preparation equipment rental, sales, fabrication and related services headquartered in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The partnership will provide capital and resources to accelerate Rapid Prep’s growth and expand its national footprint across maritime, defense, industrial and infrastructure end markets.

Machinery Services Co. and Rapid Pump & Meter Service Co. (a Hidden Harbor Capital Partners portfolio company) acquired Delta-Electro Power, Inc., a Cranston, Rhode Island-based provider of motor, pump, controls and electrical contracting services. The transaction is an add-on for Rapid Pump that expands its geographic footprint into Rhode Island and Massachusetts and broadens its service capabilities; Delta's management will remain involved and LBC Credit Partners provided financing.

Summit Fire & Security LLC, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc., has acquired Pierce Fire Protection Services, Inc., a family-owned fire protection firm based in Warwick, Rhode Island. The deal, effective July 25, 2023, expands Summit's footprint into Rhode Island and increases its national locations to 69, while Pierce's team will continue to deliver sprinkler, suppression, inspection and maintenance services under the Summit platform.
