Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, a Boca Raton-based private equity firm, acquired Machinery Services Corp. and Rapid Pump & Meter Service Co. (MSC&RPM), a Paterson, New Jersey provider of pump, motor and water/wastewater infrastructure services. The acquisition closed July 21, 2022; Hidden Harbor will partner with management to pursue growth and expand MSC&RPM's footprint in municipal, industrial and transportation end markets.

Hidden Harbor-backed Rapid Pump Acquires AC Furia Electric Motor, Inc.

Rapid Pump & Meter Service Co., a portfolio company of Hidden Harbor Capital Partners (together with Machinery Services Co.), acquired AC Furia Electric Motor, Inc., a White Plains, New York-based provider of electrical repair, maintenance and distribution services for motors and pumps. The deal expands Rapid Pump's service capabilities and northeast footprint; AC Furia's president, Marc Salvati, will join Rapid Pump as Vice President of Business Development and the AC Furia management team will remain in place.

Integrated Power Services (IPS), a Searchlight Capital-backed provider of motor and generator repair and field services, acquired three Western U.S. electrical apparatus service firms — Industrial Electric Machinery (IEM), Reed Electric & Field Service, and A+ Electric Motor — to establish a leading presence in the western United States. The add-on transactions expand IPS’s service footprint, add seven service/repair facilities and over 100 employees across the region, and strengthen its capabilities in power, industrial and renewables end markets.

The Rapid Group Acquires Pumping Solutions, Inc.

The Rapid Group, a portfolio company of Hidden Harbor Capital Partners, has acquired Pumping Solutions, Inc., a Clifton, New Jersey provider of pump service, repair, machine-shop capabilities and emergency response for high‑rise commercial and residential buildings. The add-on expands TRG’s service capabilities and geographic reach into the Northern New Jersey/New York metropolitan market while Pumping Solutions’ management will continue to run day-to-day operations.

Holland Pump Acquires Sander Power Equipment and Pump & Power Equipment Corp.

Holland Pump Company has completed the acquisitions of Sander Power Equipment (Trevose, PA) and Pump & Power Equipment Corp. (Jessup, MD), adding three branches to its pump rental and dewatering services platform.
