Industrial Services Acquisitions in Wyoming

Star Equity Holdings, a diversified holding company based in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, has acquired Alliance Drilling Tools, LLC (ADT), a Wyoming- and Texas-based drilling equipment supply and repair business. The transaction transfers ownership of ADT — which operates facilities in Midland, Texas; Casper and Evanston, Wyoming; and Vernal, Utah — to Star as the company moves into its next phase of growth.

Rental Equipment Investment Corp. (REIC), a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, has acquired Black Mountain Rentals, Inc., a two-location general equipment rental business based in Pinedale, Wyoming. The acquisition is REIC's fifth add-on under Kinderhook and expands REIC's geographic presence in the Wyoming/Idaho area; financial terms were not disclosed.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired ComTronix, a commercial and residential security and fire alarm monitoring company operating in Casper and Sheridan, Wyoming. The deal expands Pye-Barker’s footprint in Wyoming, strengthens its alarm division and enhances its communication and mass-notification capabilities.

SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies) announced that Summit Fire & Security LLC completed the purchase of Laramie Fire Extinguisher Services, effective October 5, 2022. Owner Dan Boddicker sold the local fire extinguisher and life-safety services business to Summit, which will integrate the team into its Cheyenne operations and continue serving Laramie and surrounding communities.

American Equipment Holdings, a Rotunda Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Industrial Hoist & Crane, a Rock Springs, Wyoming-based provider of overhead crane maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) field services. The deal — the 12th add-on for American Equipment since partnering with Rotunda in May 2021 — expands American Equipment's geographic coverage and service capabilities across the Intermountain West; Industrial Hoist will be rebranded as American Equipment.

SBP Holdings has acquired Hydrafab LLC, a Green River, Wyoming-based hydraulic repair, fabrication and sales specialist. Hydrafab will operate within SBP's Dakota Fluid Power fluid power/automation platform as SBP expands its North American footprint and service capabilities.

SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies) announced that its subsidiary, Summit Fire & Security LLC, has completed the acquisition of Casper Fire Extinguisher Service, Inc., a family-owned fire-extinguisher and life-safety service provider based in Casper, Wyoming. The transaction expands Summit Fire & Security's presence in Wyoming and adds local fire-extinguisher inspection, maintenance and emergency lighting services to its platform.

Summit Fire & Security LLC, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), has completed the purchase of Phoenix Fire Protection, Inc., a Cheyenne, Wyoming-based fire protection services provider. The acquisition brings Summit into the Wyoming market and retains Phoenix Fire Protection’s existing employees to expand Summit’s local service capabilities in backflow prevention, fire sprinkler and clean agent systems.
