IT Services Acquisitions in Louisiana

Lafayette-based managed IT services firm S1 Technology has acquired Computer Concepts, a more-than-25-year IT services and cybersecurity provider that serves businesses across Louisiana and Texas. The deal expands S1 Technology's footprint across the Gulf South and broadens its managed security and IT services capability and resources for regional customers.

NetSpark IP & Telecom has acquired Infinite Technology Source, a Louisiana-based managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity provider, adding deeper Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, VoIP and cybersecurity capabilities to NetSpark’s managed services and telecom platform. Infinite Technology Source will operate as part of NetSpark’s Managed Services platform to deliver integrated telecom sourcing, unified communications, cloud services and lifecycle management to customers across healthcare, finance and professional services.

Ntiva, a PE-backed managed IT services provider, has acquired The Purple Guys from Kian Capital Partners (with co-investor ParkSouth Ventures) to create one of the largest pure-play MSPs serving SMBs across the U.S. The deal combines Ntiva's nationwide footprint with The Purple Guys' regional scale and capabilities across the Central and Southern U.S., expanding managed services, cybersecurity and cloud offerings to over 2,000 clients.

Aditi Consulting has acquired Resolvit Resources, a New Orleans–based technology and management solutions provider, to expand Aditi's nearshore delivery footprint in Latin America and broaden its cyber security, DevOps, cloud/IoT and application modernization capabilities. Transaction terms were not disclosed; Brown Gibbons Lang & Company served as financial advisor to Resolvit while Fairmount Partners advised Aditi.

Meriplex, a Houston-based managed cybersecurity and IT solutions provider, has completed an asset acquisition of Louisiana-based managed service provider Verma Systems. The acquisition expands Meriplex’s regional presence in Louisiana, adds local talent and capabilities, and enables Meriplex to offer a broader set of IT and security services to Verma Systems’ SMB client base.

Sev1Tech, a PE-backed provider of IT modernization, cybersecurity and cloud services, has completed the acquisition of Geocent, a DevSecOps and engineering services firm serving U.S. federal customers. The deal — supported by Sev1Tech backers DFW Capital Partners and Enlightenment Capital — expands Sev1Tech's capabilities in space/scientific engineering, AI/ML, and strengthens its presence across Department of Homeland Security and other federal mission areas.

General Informatics, a Rosewood Private Investments–backed IT managed services platform, has acquired substantially all assets of the PC Sales and Managed Services Division of EMCO Technologies. The division — including its employees and clients based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana — will join the GI platform to expand regional managed services, consulting, network support and hardware/software sales capabilities.

Kian Capital Partners, alongside ParkSouth Ventures and management, completed a majority recapitalization of Enterprise Computing Services (ECS) and My IT, two Louisiana-based managed service providers. The investment will support the combined company's growth strategy — including pursuing additional acquisitions — and the combined organization will operate under the My IT brand.
