Logistics & Distribution Acquisitions in Louisiana

Rinchem Company, LLC has announced a combination with Dupré Logistics, L.L.C., bringing Dupré’s regional transportation, private fleet and capacity brokerage capabilities into Rinchem’s global chemical and gas logistics platform. The transaction is accompanied by a new-money financing package that includes approximately $100 million of lender investment and amendments to Rinchem’s existing credit facilities; financial terms for the combination were not disclosed.

Carr's Hill Capital Partners completed a majority recapitalization of TCI Tank Logistics, LLC (doing business as Freedom Intermodal) in partnership with company management and The Jensen Companies. Freedom Intermodal, based in New Orleans, provides ISO tank and rail services, transloading, depot services and bulk liquids logistics across Gulf Coast ports; Carr's Hill will invest in people, systems, equipment and pursue organic growth and strategic add-on acquisitions to expand the business.

Aurora Capital Partners completed a recapitalization of PSC Group with TJC, LP; Aurora has reinvested alongside TJC. PSC Group, an embedded logistics provider serving the petrochemical industry with rail, truck and marine logistics plus railcar repair and storage, operates across North America with more than 4,500 employees at 150+ sites.

Transportation Infrastructure Partners, a joint venture between Ridgewood Infrastructure and Savage, has acquired The Dupuy Group, a near‑port logistics and intermodal infrastructure provider serving major U.S. ports. The acquisition expands the JV's U.S. port and terminal footprint (complementing prior purchases of Carolina Marine Terminal and Nassau Terminals), and is intended to enhance service capabilities and realize synergies across the partners' port and terminal network.

LEMOINE, a Bernhard Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Macro Companies, a nearly 100-year-old emergency fuel and water supplier based in Broussard, Louisiana. Macro will remain headquartered in Broussard with its leadership team in place; the acquisition expands LEMOINE's disaster response and emergency logistics capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Grammer Logistics, a PE-backed hazardous chemicals transportation and logistics provider, has acquired Logistics Management Resources, Inc. (LMR), a Baton Rouge–based third-party logistics and transportation management provider focused on chemicals and industrial gases. The acquisition, completed Oct. 24, 2022, expands Grammer's transportation management capabilities and complements its asset and non-asset service offerings as part of its PE-backed growth strategy.
