Silhouet-Tone, a Canada-based manufacturer of aesthetic and spa equipment, has acquired Clareblend, Inc., a Reno, Nevada maker of electrology and microcurrent devices for the medspa and skincare market. The transaction closed October 2, 2024 and was advised by Generational Group.

Nuance Medical has acquired the BIOCORNEUM silicone gel scar treatment brand from Sientra; the brand will be integrated into Nuance’s Biodermis portfolio effective immediately. The deal expands Biodermis’ medical-grade silicone scar management offerings and aims to strengthen product availability and support for healthcare professionals.

Zeda, Inc. has acquired The Orthopaedic Implant Company (OIC) to expand its medical device capabilities and broaden global manufacturing and distribution of value-based orthopaedic implants. OIC will operate as a Zeda Health company, combining OIC’s implant designs with Zeda’s advanced/additive manufacturing technologies to improve affordability and access to trauma and orthopaedic implants worldwide.
