Acquisitions in New Jersey in 2018

DFW Capital Partners has sold its portfolio company Fleetwash Holdings, Inc. to an affiliate of ACON Investments. Fleetwash, a New Jersey–based provider of mobile power washing and facility washing services with a national footprint and over 10,000 customers, will remain led by co-founder and CEO Vito DiGiovanni and the existing management team, who have reinvested in the business.

Sotera Health LLC, a PE-backed global provider of sterilization and laboratory services, has acquired Gibraltar Laboratories, a family-owned contract microbiology and analytical chemistry testing firm based in Fairfield, New Jersey. The acquisition — advised by Capstone Partners — expands Sotera/Nelson Labs' testing capabilities and geographic presence in the pharma and medical device markets.

ESW Holdings, a portfolio company of ESW Capital, has acquired MBI Solutions, LLC, a Mount Laurel, New Jersey-based provider of infrastructure optimization, big data implementation and managed services. The acquisition expands ESW's enterprise software portfolio by adding managed services, capacity planning and big-data capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

FireMon has agreed to acquire Lumeta Corporation, integrating Lumeta’s real-time cyber situational awareness and network-discovery technology into the FireMon platform. The acquisition aims to extend FireMon’s intent-based security capabilities to previously unknown on‑premise and cloud assets, improving visibility and reducing enterprise attack surface.

Bain Capital Private Equity has acquired World Wide Packaging LLC, a US-based cosmetics packaging provider, and simultaneously purchased a Chinese cosmetics packaging manufacturer with plans to merge the two into an integrated global solutions provider. The transaction keeps WWP's senior management in place and aims to combine US customer-facing design and sales capabilities with manufacturing scale in China to expand service offerings and access high-growth Asian markets.

Keystone Natural Holdings LLC, a portfolio company of Keystone Capital Inc., completed acquisitions of J.P. Veggies Inc. (Veggieland) and Superior Tofu Ltd., adding the two plant‑based protein manufacturers to its KNH platform alongside Nature Soy. The deals expand KNH’s product portfolio, channel reach into retail, foodservice and private label, and strengthen product innovation capabilities across the platform.
