AAR Corp. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 65% controlling interest in MRO Holdings, valuing the business at an implied enterprise value of about $4.0 billion. The deal is expected to strengthen AAR’s integrated Parts, Repair, and Software aviation aftermarket platform, creating a scaled heavy-maintenance MRO operation.
AAR Corp. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aircraft Reconfig Technologies from ZIM Aircraft Cabin Solutions for $35 million in an all-cash transaction, subject to customary adjustments and closing conditions. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of AAR’s fiscal year 2026 and is intended to expand AAR’s engineering and in-house certification capabilities for passenger aircraft interior reconfigurations.
AAR Corp. has acquired HAECO Americas from HAECO Group for $78 million in cash, expanding AAR's heavy maintenance footprint with two facilities in Greensboro, North Carolina and Lake City, Florida. The deal adds roughly 1,600 employees and comes with multi-year heavy maintenance contracts worth over $850 million, which effectively sell out the acquired facilities and support AAR's Repair & Engineering growth strategy.
AAR CORP. has acquired Seattle-based Aerostrat, a long-range aviation maintenance planning software provider, for $15 million plus contingent consideration of up to $5 million. The deal brings Aerostrat's Aerros product into AAR's Trax suite to expand Trax's ERP and long-range planning capabilities and continue to offer Aerros as a standalone solution to airlines, MROs, and cargo operators.
