Brightmore Brands, a portfolio company of Beach Point Capital Management, has acquired Texas Thrift, a portfolio of 17 thrift stores, from Brook Valley Management. The add-on expands Brightmore's footprint into Texas and makes the combined company the largest privately held, for-profit thrift chain in North America.
Botanical Designs, a commercial plantscaping platform and portfolio company of Beach Point Capital Management, has acquired Foliage Design Systems, an interior landscaping and plantscaping services provider with a long presence in the southeastern United States. The add-on expands Botanical Designs' geographic footprint into key southeastern markets (Orlando, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville and Atlanta) and strengthens its capabilities in design, installation and contracted plant maintenance.
Beach Point Capital Management’s Tactical Fund has acquired a controlling stake in Wet Noses, a Seattle-area manufacturer of human‑grade, natural and organic pet food and treats. The transaction, done in partnership with founder Jasmine Galligan (who will return as CEO), will finance expansion of Wet Noses’ manufacturing capacity to meet rising demand and support growth in branded and private‑label contract manufacturing.
Beach Point Capital Management’s private equity team (on behalf of BPC Tactical Fund LP) made a majority investment in Botanical Designs, a specialty commercial landscaping and green-wall design, installation and maintenance company. Management will remain owners, terms were not disclosed, and the capital will support geographic expansion, business transformation and strategic M&A (Botanical Designs recently acquired Interior Foliage Company to expand in Seattle).
RDCP Infrastructure, part of the RDCP Group, has acquired a 90% stake in Chesterfield-based railway track engineering firm Alma Rail. The deal was supported by financing from Beach Point Capital and sees Alma Rail's co-founder Richard Walker remain in his management role as the business scales under RDCP's ownership.
Triton Pacific Capital Partners has partnered with Genesis Healthcare Partners as the founding platform for a new physician services platform, Urology Partners of America (UPA). Wet Noses, Inc., a Monroe, Washington-based manufacturer of branded and private-label pet treats, has been recapitalized by VisioCap, LLC and Beach Point Capital Management, LP.
