RH Aero Systems, a global provider of aviation support equipment and services, signed a definitive agreement for a strategic investment from Capitol Meridian Partners. The investment is intended to accelerate RH Aero’s global growth, innovation, and value creation for OEM, MRO, airline, and defense customers, with completion subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
TechnoMile has acquired SIMS Software to add facility security, clearance tracking, and post-award compliance capabilities to its AI-enabled contract management platform. The deal is backed by Capitol Meridian Partners, which will take a majority stake in the combined company in a PE-backed add-on transaction; K1 Investment Management exits its stake in TechnoMile.
PrimeFlight Aviation Services, a portfolio company of The Sterling Group and Capitol Meridian Partners, has acquired StratAir’s cargo handling operations at Miami International Airport (MIA), Richmond International Airport (RIC), and Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). The deal expands PrimeFlight’s cargo handling footprint and capacity—adding StratAir’s facilities (including a 120,000 sq. ft. third‑party handling complex at MIA) and experienced personnel to PrimeFlight’s growing global cargo network.
The Sterling Group and Capitol Meridian Partners have agreed to acquire PrimeFlight Aviation Services from funds managed by Carlyle in a 50/50 partnership; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close by Q3 2023. Headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, PrimeFlight operates roughly 235 stations globally and employs about 12,000 people, providing ground handling, fueling, deicing, GSE maintenance and other airport services to airlines, airports and cargo operators.
A consortium of investment firms—Declaration Partners (anchored by the family office of David M. Rubenstein), Capitol Meridian Partners, and 22C Capital—agreed to purchase LMI’s for‑profit subsidiary, which will retain the LMI name. The transaction, advised by KippsDeSanto & Co. and Macquarie, is expected to close in Q3 2022 and aims to accelerate LMI’s evolution into a digital‑focused, tech‑enabled government solutions provider.
