Fortive entered into a definitive agreement to acquire EA Elektro-Automatik Holding GmbH, a provider of high-power electronic test and measurement solutions, for $1.45 billion in cash (enterprise value €1,585 million). The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals and was expected to close in early Q1 2024.
RealWear has acquired Seattle-based Genba AI and received an additional $1.5 million Series C investment from Fortive Corporation. The deal brings Genba’s voice-enabled, speech-to-text SaaS for industrial maintenance into RealWear’s assisted-reality platform, accelerating RealWear’s shift to a platform-first SaaS strategy and opening new industrial channels (including a co-selling program with Fluke/eMaint).
Fortive completed its previously announced acquisition of Provation Software, adding the clinical workflow software provider as an operating company within Fortive’s Advanced Healthcare Solutions (AHS) segment. The deal was originally announced as a $1.425 billion acquisition from Clearlake, with Provation serving more than 5,000 healthcare facility customers.
Fortive entered into a definitive agreement with Bayard Capital and Accel Partners to acquire ServiceChannel, a global provider of SaaS-based multi-site facilities maintenance service solutions with an integrated service-provider network. The $1.2 billion transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Fortive Corporation has acquired Censis Technologies, a Franklin, Tennessee-based provider of SaaS surgical instrument tracking and sterile processing workflow solutions, from The Riverside Company. Riverside said it executed a value-creation plan during its ~5-year hold—growing the sales team, completing an add-on (Applied Logic) and materially expanding hospital penetration—before selling the business to Fortive.
