Rightsline, a rights and royalties management software provider, announced a $500 million strategic growth investment from Hg to accelerate AI innovation and international expansion. Klass Capital (majority owner since 2020), Salem Partners, and the broader management team will also invest alongside Hg as part of the transaction.
Teamworks, the operating system for elite sports, announced a growth investment led by Hg that more than doubles Hg’s total investment in the company to $200 million. The round, which also includes participation from AllianceBernstein, pushes Teamworks’ valuation to above $1.5 billion and is aimed at accelerating AI and data infrastructure and further sports-tech acquisitions.

Hg has increased its stake in enterprise software provider IFS to become a co-control shareholder alongside EQT, as new minority investors — a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) — buy shares from EQT, TA Associates and other minority holders. The transaction values IFS at over EUR 15 billion and supports the company’s continued AI-driven growth after surpassing €1 billion in ARR and more than 7,000 employees globally.
Hg has taken a stake in Bonn-based cloud business automation provider Scopevisio AG, partnering with founder and CEO Dr. Jörg Haas as joint shareholders. The minority growth investment (terms undisclosed) will support product innovation and expansion across the DACH region; Scopevisio serves over 7,500 customers and employs more than 300 people.
Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Trackunit from funds advised by Hg and GRO Capital, with Hg reinvesting alongside Goldman Sachs. Trackunit, a Denmark-headquartered SaaS and operating data platform for the construction ecosystem, will receive capital and strategic support to accelerate product development, international expansion and innovation; the deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals and expected to close in early summer.
Citation Group, a UK-based provider of tech-enabled compliance and certification subscription solutions for SMEs, has welcomed a new investment from HarbourVest Partners. HarbourVest joins existing majority investors KKR and Hg to support Citation's international growth, AI product development and strategic acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.
French legal- and real-estate-focused software group Septeo has agreed to welcome two new minority investors — Téthys Invest (the Bettencourt‑Meyers family holding) and GIC — alongside existing majority investor Hg and management. The minority investment will fund continued R&D (including its AI "Brain" program) and support Septeo’s growth and expansion across France and Europe; the deal values the group at over €3 billion and Septeo reported ~€420m revenue and ~3,100 employees in 2024.
