Accounting & Tax Acquisitions in Tennessee

Doeren Mayhew has acquired McMurray, Fox & Associates, PLLC, effective Nov. 10, 2025, adding offices in Hendersonville and Gallatin, Tennessee and bringing three principals and additional professionals into its Nashville practice. The deal expands Doeren Mayhew's local tax expertise and establishes a dedicated audit presence in the Middle Tennessee market.

Winter Park-based BryteBridge Group has acquired Foundation Group, a Nashville-based provider of nonprofit formation, compliance, accounting and tax services. Backed by RFE Investment Partners and Knox Capital, the deal expands BryteBridge's nonprofit services platform, integrates Foundation Group's Assurance membership with BryteBridge's Connect platform, and broadens the combined group's reach to serve more small- and medium-sized nonprofit organizations nationwide.

G&A Partners, a Houston-based professional employer organization (PEO), has acquired GrowthForce, an outsourced accounting firm, and will merge it into G&A's outsourced accounting division. The combined team will operate under the GrowthForce brand as a G&A Partners company, aiming to create an enhanced financial operations platform and expand outsourced bookkeeping, accounting, and controller services.

Doeren Mayhew has acquired Nashville-based Thurman Campbell Group, PLC (TCG), effective March 1, 2025, expanding the firm's Tennessee presence. The transaction adds 46 team members (including 11 principals), deepens Doeren Mayhew's expertise in construction, manufacturing and health care, and advances its geographic expansion strategy.

Reynolds, Bone & Griesbeck PLC (RBG) has acquired Scott and Pohlman, P.C., with the transaction effective November 1, 2024. The acquisition brings S&P's team into RBG to strengthen RBG's tax, Client Advisory and Accounting Services (CAAS) capabilities and expand its talent pool to better serve businesses and individuals.

Blankenship CPA Group, PLLC has acquired 323 Advisors, a consulting affiliate of Staffing as a Mission, adding founders/consultants Kelvin Ault and Leigh Ann Vernich to its consulting practice. The deal expands Blankenship’s advisory capabilities and deepens its consulting bench as the firm grows its service offerings across its Tennessee offices.
