Cloud & SaaS Acquisitions in Nebraska

Social Assurance has acquired MindMixer, a pioneering civic engagement platform, to integrate MindMixer’s community engagement technology into its AI-driven engagement and communication ecosystem. The deal (terms undisclosed) brings MindMixer back to Nebraska and will expand Social Assurance’s capabilities—particularly for its Class Intercom division—to deliver survey, feedback, and sentiment tools for schools, governments, and civic organizations.

CivicPlus acquired the asset management and utility billing software solutions from Beehive Industries and will integrate them into its Civic Impact Platform to deliver a more comprehensive suite of public-sector SaaS tools for local governments. The deal (with District Capital Partners advising CivicPlus) expands CivicPlus’ capabilities for infrastructure asset management, maintenance scheduling, reporting and utility billing.

TSG (The Strawhecker Group), a payments-focused analytics and consulting firm, has acquired Global NetWatch, a SaaS provider of web, network infrastructure, and card transaction performance monitoring. The acquisition—closed September 30, 2022—brings Global NetWatch's synthetic-traffic monitoring platform and global node footprint into TSG's service offering, with the Global NetWatch team joining TSG's Omaha office.

LLR Partners has completed a growth investment in Quantum Workplace, an Omaha-based employee engagement and performance SaaS provider, as McCarthy Capital sold its interest. The investment is intended to support continued product and commercial expansion of Quantum Workplace’s HR technology platform.

LLR Partners made a growth equity investment in Quantum Workplace to accelerate the employee experience platform’s product development, data science capabilities, and sales and marketing efforts while enabling strategic M&A. The capital will support expansion of Quantum Workplace’s SaaS platform and exploration of acquisition opportunities to scale its employee engagement and people analytics solutions.

Bain Capital Tech Opportunities and HGGC made a minority/growth investment in Buildertrend, the Omaha-based provider of cloud construction management software, marking the company's first institutional financing. The capital will be used to accelerate growth through strategic acquisitions and to expand Buildertrend's product capabilities into payments, data analytics and contractor services; financial terms were not disclosed.

Hudl, the Lincoln, Nebraska–based sports performance analysis platform, received a growth investment from Bain Capital Tech Opportunities (with participation from existing investors) to accelerate product innovation and global growth. Financial terms were not disclosed; Bain Capital Tech Opportunities will join Hudl’s board to support expansion of analytics, machine learning and smart camera capabilities.

Green House Data, a managed cloud and data center services provider, has acquired Deliveron, an agile-focused DevOps development firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. The acquisition adds Deliveron's DevOps, Azure refactoring, and analytics-driven software development capabilities to Green House Data's cloud modernization and managed services offerings to better serve enterprise and mid-market clients.
