Construction Acquisitions in Massachusetts

Easton Select Group, a Massachusetts-based pool services platform backed by Brenton Point Capital Partners, has acquired Jackson Pool Service, Inc., a Lexington, Massachusetts provider of pool construction, renovation, and maintenance. The deal expands Easton Select Group’s presence in Greater Boston and strengthens its residential and commercial pool construction and service capabilities.

Harkness Capital Partners completed an investment in Premier Fence, LLC on September 29, 2025, funded from Harkness Capital Partners II LP. The partnership will support Premier Fence's expansion of fencing, guardrail and gates/access-control services, accelerate geographic growth across New England, and pursue complementary add-on acquisitions with operational support from Harkness' operating partners.

TrussPoint Roofing & Exterior Renovations, a platform backed by Soundcore Capital Partners, has acquired Mario's Roofing, a residential roofing and exterior services provider serving the Greater Boston area. The deal expands TrussPoint's Northeast footprint and will provide Mario's with operational support and growth capital as part of a national roll-up strategy; terms were not disclosed.

Easton Select Group, a Massachusetts-based pool services and backyard leisure platform, has acquired Island Pools, a Martha's Vineyard provider of pool design, construction, renovation and service. The deal brings Island Pools' construction, renovation and service operations into Easton Select's portfolio to strengthen its Cape Cod and Islands presence while retaining local leadership and the Island Pools brand.

Valor Exterior Partners, a portfolio company of Osceola Capital, has acquired Roofing King, a Tyngsborough, Massachusetts-based provider of residential roofing and exterior home services. The transaction is an add-on to Valor’s platform and expands the platform’s footprint into Massachusetts and Maine as part of a broader Northeast growth strategy.

Easton Select Group, backed by Brenton Point Capital, has acquired Environmental Pools, a luxury pool builder and service provider based in Bolton, Massachusetts. Environmental Pools will continue to operate under its brand with co-owners Andrew and Corey Everleigh remaining in leadership roles (Andrew Everleigh becomes COO of Easton Select Group; Corey Everleigh becomes president of Environmental Pools). The acquisition expands Easton Select's New England footprint and adds design, construction and service capabilities to its platform.

Arch Painting has acquired Paintzen, the on-demand residential painting booking platform, from a major paint manufacturer (reported as PPG Industries). Arch plans to integrate and expand Paintzen's automation and customer-facing technology to accelerate residential growth immediately and develop commercial modules later as part of a multi-year plan to scale the business. The deal supports Arch's strategy to digitize pricing, booking and delivery to drive faster quotes and improved customer experience.

The E-J Group has acquired State Electric Corporation, a Bedford, Massachusetts-based full-service electrical contractor. State Electric will retain its name and leadership and will join E-J to strengthen the buyer's Northeast presence and expand capabilities in healthcare, life sciences, power, transportation and renewable energy projects.

The Valcourt Group has acquired Boston-based Pureview Building Services, LLC to expand its exterior building services footprint into the Boston metropolitan market. Pureview's owner Sergio Serpa will continue to lead operations as part of Valcourt's continuing roll-up of façade maintenance, window cleaning, and restoration businesses.

Houston-based Cotton Holdings has acquired 24 Restore, formerly New England’s largest locally owned full-service disaster restoration company. 24 Restore will remain a wholly owned subsidiary under CEO Steve Sorkin, with financial terms not disclosed; the purchase expands Cotton’s geographic footprint into New England and bolsters its restoration and construction capabilities.

The Bay Crane Companies, Inc. has acquired Locke Crane Services, LLC, a family-owned crane, rigging and heavy-haul services provider, expanding Bay Crane's New England footprint and branch network. The acquisition adds Locke's fleet and experienced team to Bay Crane’s regional operations to broaden its turn-key lifting and heavy-haul capabilities across New England.

The Waterproofing Company, a long-established waterproofing and restoration contractor, has acquired Phoenix Bay State Construction Company, Inc., a nearly 50-year-old New England masonry construction and restoration firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. The acquisition expands The Waterproofing Company's masonry and restoration capabilities and positions the combined organization to pursue additional regional growth opportunities.

EMCOR Group, Inc. has acquired Gaston Electrical Co., LLC, a full-service electrical construction and low-voltage contractor headquartered in Norwood, Massachusetts. The acquisition (terms not disclosed) expands EMCOR's specialty electrical construction capabilities and footprint in the Greater Boston / Northeast markets; Gaston reported estimated 2022 revenues of about $140 million and remaining unsatisfied performance obligations of roughly $120 million.

ReVamp Companies, a Bertram Capital-backed platform for residential concrete coating solutions, has acquired Next Level Concrete Coatings LLC, a regional installer operating in the Boston, Massachusetts market with operations in Tampa, Florida. The founders, Mat Giovanello and Pat Foley, will remain in leadership as Next Level is integrated as an add-on to ReVamp to accelerate geographic growth and expand the platform's residential services footprint.

Renovo Home Partners, a Dallas-based DTC home improvement platform backed by Audax Private Equity, has acquired NEWPRO Home Solutions of Woburn, Massachusetts. NEWPRO — a family-founded replacement-windows, siding, roofing and bath remodeling firm with more than 300 employees and ~ $80–100M in installed sales — will join Renovo's growing national platform to expand market share and product diversification.

Renuity, the national home improvement portfolio owned by Titan Holdings, has acquired Woburn, Massachusetts–based RiteWindow, a regional residential home improvement provider specializing in replacement windows, doors, roofs, and shower & bath remodeling. The acquisition, closed in May 2022, is the eighth operating company added to the Renuity platform and expands the platform's footprint into key New England markets.

BrandPoint Services has acquired ProGroup Contracting, a New Bedford, Massachusetts-based provider of painting and remodeling services. ProGroup's leadership and operations will be integrated into BrandPoint to expand its multi-site facility maintenance and remodeling capabilities across North America; ProGroup owner Dave Mora will join BrandPoint as Vice President of Client Relations.

SQUAN, a telecommunications design/build firm based in Englewood, New Jersey, has acquired ElecComm (ECC), an electric and communications line construction company headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The acquisition expands SQUAN's infrastructure services and geographic reach across New England and into New York, integrating ECC's 24/7 emergency outage and high/low voltage line construction capabilities.

Global consulting firm J.S. Held has acquired Perry Associates LLC, a Greater Boston–area construction consulting firm, to expand its Construction Advisory Services practice in the Northeastern United States. The deal adds Perry's expertise in commercial management, project scheduling, and construction claims to J.S. Held's broader technical, scientific, financial, and strategic consulting platform.
