Dallas-based private equity firm CenterOak Partners formed a residential lawn services platform, Turf Masters Lawn Care Services, by combining Turf Masters Lawncare, All Turf Holdings, and Green Group Holdings and providing growth capital. The existing owners and management teams will retain equity and Andy Kadrich will lead the new platform as CEO; the company operates 20+ branches across 10 states and serves over 100,000 customers annually.

Midwest Golf & Turf Acquires Golf Cars, Inc.; Combined Company to Operate as Mid-Atlantic Golf Cars LLC

Midwest Golf & Turf has acquired Golf Cars, Inc., a family-owned Club Car distributor based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, effective January 1, 2026. The combined businesses — including Midwest subsidiary Vic Gerard Golf Cars — will operate as Mid-Atlantic Golf Cars LLC from existing locations in Doylestown, PA and Farmingdale, NJ to expand regional sales and service capabilities.

TenCate Grass Acquires Midwest Sport and Turf Systems

TenCate Grass has acquired Midwest Sport and Turf Systems (MWSTS), a Plainfield, Illinois-based provider of synthetic turf sales, design-build installation, maintenance and repair. The acquisition expands TenCate's U.S. installation and service capabilities and strengthens its Midwest presence; MWSTS founder Jody Factor will remain with the company following the transaction.

Oaktree Acquires LPW Group from Wynnchurch Capital

Funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management have acquired LPW Group Holdings, Inc. from Wynnchurch Capital. LPW Group, a Houston-based designer and manufacturer of specialty valves, actuators, fittings and flanges serving chemical, petrochemical, LNG, refining, renewable and naval markets, will operate under Oaktree's ownership as the firms complete Wynnchurch's exit.

E.J. Welch Acquires Midwest Territories of Gilford-Johnson Flooring

E.J. Welch, the flooring division of Merit Distribution (backed by Center Rock Capital Partners), acquired the Indiana, western Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio territories — including facilities — of Gilford-Johnson Flooring effective Sept. 28, 2020. The transaction is an add-on to E.J. Welch's flooring distribution platform to expand its Midwest footprint and integrate local teams and supplier relationships.

Turf Masters Brands Acquires Fairway Green (plus three additional regional lawn care businesses)

Turf Masters Brands, a CenterOak Partners-backed residential lawn care platform, acquired Fairway Green and also added Mighty Green Lawn Care Services, Perfectly Green Lawn Care, and MRW Lawns, Inc. to its platform. The transactions expand Turf Masters' footprint across the Southeast (notably doubling presence in North Carolina) and add nearly 200 team members to the platform; terms were not disclosed.
