CAST, a new information-security platform founded by Systematic Growth, has added iStorage Holdings (including iStorage Ltd) — which recently acquired U.S.-based Kanguru Solutions — to its group. The deal brings together hardware-encrypted data storage and cloud-security capabilities to expand CAST's global footprint and product offering across government, healthcare and financial end markets.

Jungheinrich AG Acquires Storage Solutions group

Jungheinrich AG is acquiring Indiana-based Storage Solutions group from Merit Capital Partners, MFG Partners and Storage Solutions' management for a purchase price of approximately USD 375 million plus a performance-based earnout. The deal gives Jungheinrich a U.S. platform in racking, warehouse design and automation (Storage Solutions: ~170 employees, ~USD 290M revenue in 2022) and is expected to close in Q2 2023 subject to customary conditions including U.S. merger clearance.

Jungle Disk Acquires ElephantDrive to Create Consumer Backup Division

San Antonio-based Jungle Disk has acquired Los Angeles–based ElephantDrive to launch a consumer backup division, bringing ElephantDrive's NAS and consumer cloud storage capabilities into Jungle Disk's backup and recovery portfolio. ElephantDrive will operate as an independent business unit focused on protecting consumer photos, videos and documents while Jungle Disk leverages its infrastructure and scale to expand into the consumer market.

Kobus will continue operating from its Houston (U.S.) and Tamworth (U.K.) locations and the deal expands Dresser's capabilities for safer, faster, and more cost-effective underground gas and water pipe replacement to address aging utility infrastructure.
