Accenture Federal Services Acquires Novetta from The Carlyle Group

Accenture Federal Services (AFS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Accenture, has agreed to acquire Novetta, an advanced analytics and cyber engineering firm serving U.S. defense, intelligence, and law enforcement customers. The deal — being sold by The Carlyle Group — brings Novetta's ~1,300 employees and machine learning, cyber, and cloud capabilities into AFS to expand its national security analytics and digital offerings.

QinetiQ US, a wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ Group plc, has agreed to acquire Avantus Federal from NewSpring Holdings for an enterprise value of $590 million. The deal expands QinetiQ's U.S. defense and intelligence capabilities by adding Avantus' cyber, data analytics, software development and space services, and is expected to close by the end of 2022 subject to regulatory approvals.
