QinetiQ US Acquires Avantus Federal from NewSpring Holdings

QinetiQ US, a wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ Group plc, has agreed to acquire Avantus Federal from NewSpring Holdings for an enterprise value of $590 million. The deal expands QinetiQ's U.S. defense and intelligence capabilities by adding Avantus' cyber, data analytics, software development and space services, and is expected to close by the end of 2022 subject to regulatory approvals.
