Avantus Aerospace Acquires Fastener Innovation Technology (FIT)

Avantus Aerospace, a PE-backed aerospace C-class parts group, acquired Fastener Innovation Technology Corporation (FIT) of Rancho Dominguez, California as an add-on to expand its specialty fastener capabilities. FIT (founded 1979) will continue to be led by its existing management and will be integrated with Avantus’s fastener businesses to better serve aerospace OEM and defense customers including Boeing, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.

The deal expands QinetiQ's U.S. defense and intelligence capabilities by adding Avantus' cyber, data analytics, software development and space services, and is expected to close by the end of 2022 subject to regulatory approvals.
