Synagro Technologies, Inc. has acquired New England Fertilizer Company (NEFCO), a Massachusetts-based biosolids management company, in a strategic transaction that expands Synagro's thermal-drying and beneficial-use capabilities. The deal adds five large facilities and several major municipal clients to Synagro's network, advancing its circular-economy offerings and capacity for biosolids beneficial use.

West Street Infrastructure Partners III Acquires Synagro Technologies from EQT Infrastructure

West Street Infrastructure Partners III, an infrastructure fund managed by Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division, has agreed to acquire Synagro Technologies, Inc., the largest provider of wastewater biosolids solutions in North America, from EQT Infrastructure II. The transaction, expected to close in December 2020, transfers a platform that manages over 14 million tons of biosolids annually across 24 facilities and serves roughly 1,000 municipal and industrial customers across 35 states.

Mississippi Lime Company (MLC) Acquires Burnett, Inc.

Mississippi Lime Company (MLC), an HBM Holdings company, has completed the acquisition of Burnett, Inc., a technical leader in lime slurry systems and services used in municipal water treatment. The deal includes Burnett's four Southeast U.S. operations, trucking business and proprietary technologies (CAL~FLO and the RE~MIN PROCESS); financial terms were not disclosed.

Centro, Inc. Acquires LECORP

Matrix Sciences Acquires AgroLab Inc.

Triad Technologies Acquires Tech-Syn Corporation

The transaction, executed by Vandalia, Ohio-based Triad (which is PE-backed by Shorehill Capital LLC), adds Tech-Syn's value-added sealing, O-ring and hose capabilities across locations in Bloomingdale and Rockford, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
