Altium Acquires Ciiva (and Signs to Acquire Octopart)

Altium Limited has completed the acquisition of Swiss cloud-based component management provider Ciiva and announced a signed agreement to acquire Octopart, a New York‑based electronic parts search and data provider. The moves expand Altium's content and supply‑chain intelligence capabilities, enabling tighter integration of parts data, BOM management and CAD tools for electronic designers and manufacturers.

The transaction paid Optiva shareholders C$0.25 per common share, cancelled Optiva's US$108.6 million PIK notes with consideration to noteholders (including purchaser shares, purchaser-issued senior secured notes and warrants), and will result in Optiva being dissolved and delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange. The combined company expands Qvantel's telecom monetization and digital operations portfolio and supports more than 70 operators with a global workforce exceeding 1,000 professionals.

ProA Capital Acquires 70% Stake in Avioparts

Spanish private equity firm ProA Capital has agreed to acquire roughly 70% of Avioparts, a distributor of aircraft components, lubricants and logistics solutions, in a deal that values the company at about €40 million. The transaction is structured as a share purchase plus a capital increase to support Avioparts’ organic and inorganic growth; founder David Fojon will remain CEO and a minority shareholder.
