Kohn & Company, which oversees more than $2.2 billion in client assets and employs 23 people. The deal closed on December 6, 2025 and increases Wealth Enhancement's total client assets to over $131 billion, while expanding its footprint across the Midwest and South.

Sigma7 Acquires Risk & Strategic Management, Corp.

(RSM), a provider of risk consulting, business continuity and accredited security-focused training delivered via e-learning and an 87-acre immersive training facility. RSM founder Dr. Mike Blyth will remain CEO and all employees will stay in place; terms were not disclosed. The deal expands Sigma7's platform capabilities in training, crisis management and global risk services.

Wealthcare Acquires Sommers Financial Management

Wealthcare Advisory Partners LLC, a NewSpring Holdings platform company and technology-enabled full-service RIA, has acquired Sommers Financial Management, a fee-only registered investment advisor founded in 2002. The deal expands Wealthcare's direct advisory footprint and adds advisors located in Scappoose, Oregon and Tucson, Arizona to its network of more than 150 advisors managing roughly $5 billion in AUM.

Cornerstone Advisors Acquires BankSmart

Cornerstone said it will integrate BankSmart’s team and its "SmartKits" operational tools into Cornerstone’s product suite to expand services and deliver new products to community-focused financial institutions nationwide.
