Accel Entertainment Acquires Fairmount Holdings (FanDuel Sportsbook & Racetrack)

Accel Entertainment, Inc. acquired Fairmount Holdings, owner of the FanDuel Sportsbook & Racetrack in Collinsville, Illinois, for approximately 3.45 million shares of Accel Class A-1 common stock. The deal adds a single-site racetrack, three OTB locations, a master sports betting license (in partnership with FanDuel) and a legislatively authorized casino development opportunity to expand Accel's locals gaming footprint.

The deal expands Accel’s footprint into Montana and Nevada—adding more than 900 licensed locations and ~8,300 gaming terminals—and brings manufacturing capabilities through Century’s Grand Vision Gaming unit and Century’s player rewards programs.

Fairfax Acquires Controlling Ownership of Peak Achievement Athletics

Affiliates of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited agreed to acquire all equity interests in Peak Achievement Athletics Inc. from Sagard Holdings Inc., giving Fairfax control of Peak and its brands including Bauer Hockey, Cascade Lacrosse and Maverik Lacrosse. The transaction was announced in September 2024 and was completed in December 2024; Fairfax said it will provide long-term support to grow Peak's portfolio.
