Gryphon Investors Acquires Ncontracts from Mainsail Partners

Gryphon Investors, a San Francisco-based middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Ncontracts, a Nashville-based provider of cloud-based risk, vendor and compliance management software for financial institutions. Mainsail Partners, which invested in Ncontracts in 2015, sold the company; Michael Berman will remain CEO and several Gryphon software executives will join Ncontracts' board. Terms were not disclosed.

Luminate Capital Partners Makes Strategic Growth Investment in Quantivate

Ncontracts Acquires Venminder; Hg Completes Buyout

Ncontracts, a PE-backed provider of integrated risk management and compliance software for financial institutions, has acquired Banc Intranets, a provider of secure web-based enterprise content management and portal solutions (BancWorks employee portal and DirectorLink board portal). The deal expands Ncontracts' capabilities for banks, credit unions, mortgage companies and fintechs by adding employee and board portal functionality to its RegTech suite; the combined companies will have over 200 employees and serve more than 1,600 customers.

Qualus Corporation Acquires GridBright

Qualus Corporation, a portfolio company of New Mountain Capital, has acquired GridBright, a Silicon Valley–area technology solutions firm specializing in grid integration software, systems integration, and advisory services. The deal (terms not disclosed) expands Qualus’ capabilities in grid modernization, resiliency, security, and renewable interconnection services; AEC Advisors advised Qualus and Capstone Partners advised GridBright.
