Monster Beverage Corporation Acquires CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective

Monster Beverage Corporation agreed to acquire CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective LLC for $330 million in cash. CANarchy — a collective of craft beer and hard seltzer brands including Cigar City, Oskar Blues, Deep Ellum and others — will operate independently under its existing management and the deal excludes CANarchy's stand-alone restaurants; the transaction was expected to close in Q1 2022 subject to customary approvals.

St Peter's Brewery Acquires Curious Brewery (and Wild Beer Co brands)

Suffolk-based St Peter's Brewery has acquired Curious Brewery, and through that purchase has also taken control of the Wild Beer Co brands that Curious acquired out of administration. Curious had been owned by Luke Johnson’s private equity firm Risk Capital Partners since 2021; the deal is reported to have been made by the investor group that acquired St Peter’s in 2021.

PureK Holdings Acquires Nirvana Group (BudaPets) Pet Wellness Brand

PureK issued USD $1.5 million in unsecured convertible debentures as consideration and structured earn-outs (up to USD $1.5 million payable in common shares) tied to 2021–2022 sales milestones; the deal strengthens PureK's pet care product portfolio alongside its PureKana and No B.S. brands.
