Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) has completed the acquisition of CDI Engineering Solutions, a Houston-based multi-discipline EPCM and engineering firm, from private equity firm AE Industrial Partners. CDI, with 600+ employees and eight engineering centers, expands TCE's U.S. footprint and strengthens its capabilities in energy transition, semiconductors and advanced manufacturing.

Ardian Acquires Audiotonix from Astorg

Ardian has agreed to acquire UK-headquartered Audiotonix, a designer and manufacturer of professional audio mixing consoles, from private equity firm Astorg. Management and Astorg will reinvest in the business; the deal (c. 550 employees) is expected to close in Q1 2020 and will support expansion of Audiotonix's brands and product portfolio.

Industrial Physics Acquires Technidyne Corporation

Industrial Physics, a portfolio company of Union Park Capital, has acquired Technidyne Corporation, a U.S.-based maker of instruments that measure optical, surface and physical properties of paper and related materials. The deal adds optical-properties measurement and automated testing capabilities to Industrial Physics' offerings and strengthens service coverage in the U.S. and Canada while expanding Technidyne's access to Industrial Physics' global sales and service footprint.

Titomic Acquires Tri-D Dynamics

Titomic Limited's wholly owned subsidiary Titomic USA, Inc completed the acquisition of the business of Tri-D Dynamics Inc on 9 July 2021. The deal brings Tri-D's Silicon Valley design and smart-pipe manufacturing capabilities into Titomic to accelerate commercialisation of digitally embedded metal infrastructure and support Titomic's defence, aerospace and oil & gas initiatives in North America.

Tinicum, L.P. has acquired a controlling interest in Aeronix Technologies Group (ATG) from ShoreView Industries, with ShoreView and ATG employee shareholders retaining significant minority stakes. Headquartered in Melbourne, Florida, ATG supplies high-reliability defense electronics and engineering services across air, sea, ground and space domains; Tinicum said it will partner with management to support the company's next phase of growth and broaden its national security applications.

Arxis Acquires Micro-Tronics

Arxis, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Micro-Tronics, Inc., a Tempe, Arizona-based manufacturer of engineered elastomeric and metallic components for commercial aerospace and defense applications. The add-on strengthens Arxis' Mechanical Components segment by adding MTI's elastomeric diaphragm, seal assembly and high-precision EDM capabilities to support mission-critical aerospace and defense programs.
