Unity Partners, a principles-based private equity firm, has completed a strategic investment in The Byng Group, a Toronto-based provider of end-to-end unit turnover, repair and renovation services for multifamily and senior living properties. The capital will support Byng’s U.S. geographic expansion, employee ownership program rollout, and continued organic growth and M&A initiatives; terms were not disclosed.

(Nasdaq: LGN), a Blackstone-backed national MEP engineering and services provider, has acquired Innovative Mechanical & Design, LLC (IMD), a Windsor, Colorado-based mechanical and plumbing contractor serving healthcare, pharmaceutical, higher education, semiconductor and hyperscaler clients. The acquisition is a bolt-on to Legence’s platform to expand its service, maintenance and fabrication capabilities and broaden its regional footprint.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires CLC Group Limited

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has acquired CLC Group Limited from the Armitage Family Trust, with the Armitage family trust and CLC management reinvesting alongside H.I.G. The UK-based property and asset refurbishment provider operates roughly 15 branches and offers refurbishment, electrical and fire protection services to social housing, local government, defence, hospitality and utilities clients; H.I.G. intends to support service and geographic expansion and pursue add-on acquisitions.

Legault Group Acquires Ren's Pets
