Station Partners-backed Evolve Logistics Group has acquired Blue Bear Universal, Inc. and Maryland Transport Group, Inc., two contract service providers to FedEx Ground operating in New Jersey and Maryland hubs. The deal creates a platform for Evolve to expand its FedEx Ground service footprint through organic route growth and strategic add-on acquisitions; Blue Bear founder Michael Cohen will remain with the business as COO.
