EchoStar Acquires DISH Network

EchoStar completed its acquisition of DISH Network on December 31, 2023, merging a wholly owned EchoStar subsidiary into DISH with DISH surviving as an EchoStar wholly owned subsidiary. The deal combines DISH’s satellite TV, streaming services and nationwide 5G network with EchoStar’s satellite communications and JUPITER satellite capacity to create an integrated provider of terrestrial and non‑terrestrial connectivity based in Englewood, Colorado.
