Baton Rouge-based General Informatics has acquired New Orleans-based GlobeNet, bringing GlobeNet's ~10-person cybersecurity team into General Informatics to bolster security capabilities and expand healthcare and maritime verticals. The deal is an add-on for General Informatics (which is PE-backed by Rosewood Private Investments) and aims to scale security services, add vendor relationships, and enable cross-selling across cloud and AI offerings.
