General Informatics Acquires CMS IP Technologies

General Informatics, a portfolio company of Rosewood Private Investments, has acquired CMS IP Technologies, a regional managed IT services provider with an established presence in Texas, Louisiana and Colorado. The add-on expands General Informatics' geographic footprint in Texas and Colorado and strengthens its managed services and network infrastructure capabilities; FOCUS Investment Banking advised General Informatics on the transaction.

Baton Rouge-based General Informatics has acquired New Orleans-based GlobeNet, bringing GlobeNet's ~10-person cybersecurity team into General Informatics to bolster security capabilities and expand healthcare and maritime verticals. The deal is an add-on for General Informatics (which is PE-backed by Rosewood Private Investments) and aims to scale security services, add vendor relationships, and enable cross-selling across cloud and AI offerings.
