VMware Acquires Nyansa to Bolster SD‑WAN with AI‑Driven Network Analytics

VMware announced intent to acquire Nyansa, an AI-based network analytics vendor, to integrate end-to-end visibility, monitoring and remediation into VMware SD‑WAN by VeloCloud. The acquisition brings Nyansa's Voyance AIOps platform and AI/ML capabilities into VMware's networking portfolio to improve troubleshooting, proactively predict client problems and advance self‑healing network capabilities.

The acquisition will integrate CloudGenix’s SD-WAN technology to accelerate onboarding of remote branches and retail locations into Palo Alto Networks’ SASE offering; the CloudGenix co-founders will join Palo Alto Networks following the close, expected in the company’s fiscal fourth quarter subject to customary conditions.
