Alira Health has acquired Sourcia, a Europe-based full-service Contract Research Organization (CRO) focused on Phase I–IV clinical trials for biotech, medical devices, and digital therapeutics. The deal expands Alira Health's clinical operations footprint into Central Europe, adding Sourcia's offices in Zevenbergen (Netherlands), Munich (Germany) and Vienna (Austria) to its capabilities.

Ergomed plc Acquires MS Clinical Services (MedSource)

Ergomed plc has acquired MS Clinical Services, LLC (MedSource), a Houston-based full-service CRO specializing in oncology and rare disease, for an initial $16.2 million in cash plus potential shares and contingent consideration. The acquisition expands Ergomed's US footprint (adding ~110 US employees and offices in Houston, Raleigh and Boston), strengthens its specialist clinical research capabilities and is expected to be immediately accretive.

The transaction closed on January 31, 2025; Frontenac intends to support CROM's organic and inorganic growth and expand its water and wastewater services across the Sun Belt.
