D.C. Humphrys Acquires Gosport Manufacturing

Philadelphia-based D.C. Humphrys has acquired Gosport Manufacturing, an 80-year-old Gosport, Indiana maker of tarpaulins and industrial textiles. The acquisition preserves local manufacturing operations and employees, with Humphrys planning to add capacity and begin producing some athletic products at the Gosport facility following Joseph King’s retirement.
