The deal expands National's metal stamping, laser cutting, and powder-coating capabilities and advances its vertical-integration strategy to better serve OEM customers in vocational truck, medical, food service and casket markets.

Hunt Military Communities Acquires Homeport Hampton Roads

Hunt Military Communities (HMC) has acquired full ownership of Homeport Hampton Roads, a $336 million privatized housing development comprising 1,846 units and 3,682 beds supporting unaccompanied Navy personnel in Norfolk and Newport News, Virginia. The acquisition expands HMC's military housing portfolio and integrates the high-performing property into its nationwide operations while continuing the partnership with the U.S. Navy.

H.I.G. Capital Affiliate Acquires CargoTuff

H.I.G. said it will support CargoTuff's growth and expansion of product capabilities and its global manufacturing footprint while CargoTuff's management team will remain in place.

Woolpert Acquires Dawood Engineering

Woolpert has acquired Dawood Engineering Inc., a 33-year-old infrastructure and geospatial technology firm headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, bringing more than 150 engineers, surveyors, and geospatial professionals into Woolpert. The acquisition expands Woolpert's transportation and utilities capabilities and strengthens its presence in Pennsylvania while adding Dawood's surveying, 3D laser scanning, GIS, digital twin and Twin Track mobile application capabilities.
