CentroMotion, a One Rock–backed portfolio company, agreed to acquire Carlisle Brake & Friction (CBF) from Carlisle Companies Incorporated and completed the transaction in August 2021. The add-on expands CentroMotion’s portfolio of engineered motion, actuation and control solutions by adding CBF’s global friction materials and mechatronic capabilities and ~1,350 employees based in Medina, Ohio.
