Lineage Logistics Acquires MTC Logistics

Lineage Logistics acquired MTC Logistics, a cold-chain provider operating four refrigerated facilities near key U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports (Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia and Mobile). The deal adds nearly 38 million cubic feet of capacity and over 113,000 pallet positions to Lineage's global temperature-controlled network; financial terms were not disclosed. MTC was a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoffberger Holdings, Inc.

TransImpact Acquires Avercast LLC

TransImpact, a supply chain technology and services company based in Emerald Isle, North Carolina, has acquired Avercast LLC, a Rigby, Idaho–based provider of inventory forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization software. The deal adds seven forecasting products and Avercast's algorithmic forecasting and analytics capabilities to TransImpact's platform, expanding its technology footprint and international presence.

MGN Logistics Acquires Republic Logistic Services

Accenture Acquires MacGregor Partners to Strengthen Supply Chain and Fulfillment Capabilities

Accenture has acquired MacGregor Partners, a Raleigh-based supply chain consultancy and technology provider, to expand its Intelligent Platform Services capabilities in warehouse and logistics transformation. The deal brings MacGregor’s team of more than 100 employees and expertise in WMS/TMS implementations, robotics integration, and analytics (including Blue Yonder-based solutions) into Accenture’s platform; terms were not disclosed.
