IDEX Corporation Acquires Flow Management Devices, LLC

IDEX Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Flow Management Devices, LLC (Flow MD) for $125 million in cash, before closing adjustments. Flow MD, a Phoenix-based maker of small-volume provers used for custody transfer accuracy in the oil and gas industry, has approximately $60 million in annual sales and will join IDEX's energy group.

Mott Corporation Acquires Digested Organics

Mott Corporation has acquired Digested Organics, a Michigan-based engineering and filtration manufacturer that builds water reclamation solutions for agricultural, food & beverage and waste-stream customers. The deal expands Mott’s capabilities in water/wastewater treatment, skid manufacturing and clean energy solutions; Digested Organics’ CEO will remain and employees will join Mott’s employee ownership program.

IDEX Corporation Acquires Iridian Spectral Technologies

IDEX Corporation agreed to acquire Iridian Spectral Technologies for CAD 150 million and completed the acquisition in May 2023. Iridian, an Ottawa-based designer and manufacturer of thin-film optical filters serving laser communications, telecommunications and life sciences markets, will join IDEX's Optical Technologies within its Health & Science Technology segment to expand IDEX's optical coating and filter capabilities.

IDEX Corporation Acquires Muon Group from Rivean Capital for €700 Million

IDEX Corporation has acquired Muon B.V. and its subsidiaries (Muon Group) from private equity owner Rivean Capital for an enterprise value of €700 million. The Netherlands-based Muon Group, a micro-precision components manufacturer with ~580 employees and ~€140 million of 2022 sales, will join IDEX's Health & Science Technologies segment to expand IDEX's precision-technology capabilities and accelerate product development and customer relationships.

IDEX Corporation Acquires Airtech Group and US Valve from EagleTree Capital

IDEX Corporation agreed to acquire Airtech Group, Inc., US Valve Corporation and related entities from investment funds managed by EagleTree Capital for $470 million in cash (subject to customary adjustments). The acquisition brings engineered vacuum pumps, regenerative blowers, compressor systems and valves into IDEX's Health & Science Technology segment; Airtech's largest facility is in Rutherford, New Jersey, with additional operations in Werneck, Germany and Shenzhen, China.

Innovative Emissions Control Inc. Acquires Cormetech, Inc.

Innovative Emissions Control Inc. (IEC), a special-purpose investment company founded by John Moore and Edoardo Bugnone, has completed a transaction to acquire Cormetech, Inc.; terms were not disclosed. IEC said the investment will provide growth capital and long-term ownership stability to support Cormetech's global expansion and development of new technologies, including work in carbon capture and water treatment.
