Versare Solutions (WILsquare portfolio) Acquires EverBlock Systems

Versare Solutions, a Minneapolis-based portfolio company of WILsquare Capital, has acquired substantially all assets of EverBlock Systems, a New York-based maker of modular room partitions, building blocks and interlocking flooring. The deal combines EverBlock's patented modular products with Versare's manufacturing, eCommerce and digital marketing capabilities to expand product offerings and distribution; terms were not disclosed.

(formerly Square, Inc.) has completed its acquisition of Afterpay Limited via a court-approved scheme of arrangement, bringing Afterpay's buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) capabilities into Block's Square and Cash App ecosystems. Afterpay co-founders joined Block to lead merchant and consumer businesses, and Block plans to integrate Afterpay to enable BNPL at checkout, deepen Cash App functionality, and drive growth for merchants and consumers.

Marketplace Events has acquired the Cincinnati Travel, Sport & Boat Show from Cincinnati Shows, Inc., a division of Renfro Productions. The long-running consumer show (66 years) will continue to be operated by the Renfro Productions management team led by Kevin Renfro and will next run in January 2026 at the renovated Duke Energy Convention Center.
