Aurora Capital Partners has completed a tender offer to acquire Sharps Compliance Corp., a Houston-based provider of medical, pharmaceutical and hazardous waste management services. Sharps will become a privately-held company and join Aurora's medical waste / business services platform, with Aurora planning to partner with management to expand the company's solutions and pursue selective add-on acquisitions.

PSC is a North American leader in product handling and site logistics for petrochemical, refining, midstream and marine transportation end markets, with 3,500+ employees operating across the U.S. and Canada; Aurora said it will provide capital to accelerate PSC’s growth as part of its Equity Partners V fund.

Nautic Partners has completed the acquisition of Aurora Plastics, a Streetsboro, Ohio-based producer of PVC and custom polymer compounds, in partnership with Aurora management. The seller parties were Wind Point Partners and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board; financing for the deal was led by Antares Capital and Carlyle Global Credit, and Nautic says it will support Aurora's growth and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented specialty compounds market.

Universal Pure, headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, operates ~20 HPP machines across eight U.S. facilities (1.1 million sq. ft.) and ~800 employees; terms were not disclosed.
