Aurora Capital Partners has acquired Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services, a vertically integrated medical waste collection, treatment and disposal provider headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, from Summer Street Capital Partners. Aurora said it will support Curtis Bay's organic growth and pursue add-on acquisitions as part of a buy-and-build strategy to expand the company's footprint and service capabilities across the U.S.

The seller parties were Wind Point Partners and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board; financing for the deal was led by Antares Capital and Carlyle Global Credit, and Nautic says it will support Aurora's growth and pursue acquisitions in the fragmented specialty compounds market.

Capital Waste Services Acquires Southern Central Waste Services and Priority Waste Services

Capital Waste Services, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, acquired Southern Central Waste Services and Priority Waste Services, two Tennessee-based roll-off and transfer-station operators, expanding its footprint in Southeast Tennessee. The deals are the platform's eighth and ninth add-on acquisitions and will strengthen Capital Waste's vertically integrated network; debt financing was provided by a syndicate led by Comerica Bank with MUFG, Webster Bank, and Fifth Third.
