SolarWinds has agreed to acquire TriGeo, a provider of log and event management software, for $35 million in cash. The acquisition will add TriGeo's technology to SolarWinds' portfolio as SolarWinds Log and Event Manager (LEM), expanding SolarWinds' IT management capabilities into log/event management, security and compliance; the deal was expected to close in Q3 2011.

Turn/River Capital has completed the acquisition of SolarWinds Corporation for approximately $4.4 billion, paying SolarWinds shareholders $18.50 per share in cash. With the closing, SolarWinds becomes a privately held company; Turn/River said it will invest in product innovation, observability, and AI-powered automation to accelerate growth.

SolarWinds has agreed to acquire Samanage, a Cary, North Carolina–based cloud IT service desk (ITSM) SaaS provider, for approximately $350 million (about $329 million net of cash). The acquisition, expected to close in Q2 2019, will fold Samanage into SolarWinds’ IT Operations Management portfolio to expand SolarWinds’ ITSM capabilities and broaden cross-sell opportunities across its customer base.

SolarWinds Acquires SentryOne

SolarWinds has signed a definitive agreement to acquire SentryOne, a provider of database performance monitoring and DataOps solutions for SQL Server and the Microsoft Data Platform. The acquisition expands SolarWinds' database performance management capabilities to better serve Microsoft and Azure environments across mid-market and larger organizations; the transaction is expected to close later this month.
