Central Garden & Pet Acquires Leading Edge Associates / Leading Edge Aero Technologies

Central Garden & Pet completed the acquisition of Leading Edge Associates, Inc. and Leading Edge Aero Technologies, Inc., two Daytona Beach–based developers and manufacturers of large commercial drones and supporting software; the deal closed on November 6, 2024. The purchase brings drone hardware and precision-application software capabilities into Central’s pet and garden portfolio to support mosquito/vector control, weed control and precision farming solutions.

Vista Global Holding Acquires Jet Edge

Vista Global Holding has acquired Jet Edge, a leading U.S. large-cabin and super-midsize private jet charter, management and maintenance platform, expanding Vista's North American footprint and growing its fleet by roughly 100 aircraft. As part of the transaction, XOJET Aviation will acquire a majority stake in certain Part 135 certificates (Jet Select and Western Air Charter), and more than 800 Jet Edge employees and maintenance infrastructure (including a Part 145 facility) will join the Vista group.

Volaris Group Acquires Advantage 360 Software

Volaris Group, an operating group of Constellation Software, has acquired Advantage 360 Software, LLC, a provider of converged customer management and revenue assurance software for tier 3 and 4 telecommunications operators. The acquisition will add Advantage 360 to Volaris' Communications & Media portfolio to expand capabilities, product offering and market coverage in emerging markets; Advantage 360 is headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Heads Up Technologies Acquires Innovative Advantage

Heads Up Technologies (HUT) has acquired Innovative Advantage, a Kirkland, Washington-based cabin management system (CMS) specialist, marking HUT's third acquisition in three years. The deal expands HUT's proprietary cabin technologies—combining Innovative Advantage's AVDS platform with HUT's lighting and control systems and Alto Aviation's audio capabilities—to offer fully integrated cabin solutions for business and commercial aircraft.
