IonQ has completed the acquisition of Boston-based Lightsynq, a startup developing photonic interconnects and quantum memory. The deal adds Lightsynq's IP and engineering capabilities to accelerate IonQ's fault-tolerant quantum computing roadmap and progress toward quantum networking and the quantum internet.

IonQ Acquires Controlling Stake in ID Quantique

IonQ has completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in ID Quantique (IDQ), adding IDQ's quantum key distribution (QKD) systems, quantum random number generators (QRNGs) and single-photon detectors to its product portfolio. The deal expands IonQ's quantum networking and secure-communications capabilities, brings nearly 300 granted and pending patents to IonQ's IP estate, and strengthens its position in national and international quantum communications initiatives.

iQSTEL Acquires 51% of Lynk Telecom

iQSTEL Inc. agreed to acquire a 51% membership interest in Lynk Telecom (Lynktel), adding an estimated $20 million in annual revenue and $1 million in annual net income. The transaction strengthens iQSTEL's U.S. presence by integrating Lynk Telecom's wholesale and retail telecom services and is expected to close by July 1, 2024 following due diligence.

iQSTEL Acquires 51% Stake in QXTEL

iQSTEL Inc. has entered into a binding agreement to acquire 51% of the capital stock of QXTEL, a wholesale telecommunications provider with offices across Miami, London, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Belgrade and Dubai. Management said the deal nearly doubles iQSTEL's revenue, brings new wholesale carrier customers and executive talent, and will be integrated to drive operating efficiencies and margin expansion.

Quantum Computing Inc. Acquires Luminar Semiconductor, Inc. for $110M

Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) completed an all-cash acquisition of Luminar Semiconductor, Inc. (LSI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Luminar Technologies, in a transaction valued at $110 million. The deal brings LSI’s lasers, detectors, advanced packaging, and manufacturing capabilities into QCi’s thin-film lithium niobate photonics platform to create a vertically integrated, domestically manufactured photonics and quantum technology offering and to strengthen near-term revenue and defense/aerospace market access.
