Corby (Pernod Ricard) Acquires 90% Stake in Ace Beverage Group

Corby Spirit and Wine, the Canadian affiliate of Pernod Ricard, will acquire a 90% stake in Ace Beverage Group for an enterprise value of CAD 165 million, with call options to buy the remaining shares in 2025 and 2028. The deal gives Corby a stronger position in the fast-growing Canadian ready-to-drink (RTD) category and will leverage Corby's distribution network to scale ABG's Cottage Springs, Ace Hill and other brands across Canada.

AWL/Accolade (Vinarchy) Acquires Pernod Ricard’s International Wine Portfolio

Australian Wine Holdco Limited (AWL), a consortium of institutional investors and owner of Accolade Wines, has completed the acquisition of Pernod Ricard’s portfolio of strategic international wines effective April 30, 2025. The deal combines the Pernod Ricard wine assets (including Jacob’s Creek, Campo Viejo, Brancott Estate and others) with Accolade to form a new global wine company, Vinarchy, while Pernod Ricard will continue distribution for a transitional period.

Loch Lomond Group Acquires The New York Distilling Company

The deal combines Spectrum's auction, international marketplace and storage capabilities with WineX's curated inventory, digital retail experience and loyal customer base to create an integrated destination for fine and rare wine.

Flaviar Acquires Speakeasy Co.

Flaviar, Inc. has acquired Speakeasy Co. in a cash-and-stock deal to fold Speakeasy's agency, marketing and fulfillment capabilities into Flaviar Checkout and expand Flaviar's B2B/e-commerce enablement for beverage-alcohol brands. The combined business will give brand partners access to warehouse-based fulfillment, performance marketing, and Flaviar's data and ad products while preserving Speakeasy's team and client relationships.

Ryder System Acquires Whiplash Fulfillment

Ryder System, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Whiplash, a City of Industry, California-based omnichannel e-commerce fulfillment and logistics provider, for approximately $480 million in cash. The acquisition expands Ryder's e-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment network (adding 19 warehouses and ~7 million square feet), is expected to be accretive, and aims to integrate Whiplash's technology, operations, and team to accelerate capability and geographic coverage.
