Zeon Corporation Acquires Aurora Microplates

Zeon Corporation has reached an agreement to acquire Aurora Microplates, a manufacturer of high-performance microplates used in drug discovery and diagnostic research. The deal, announced in Tokyo, will allow Zeon to enter the microplate market and expand into research and diagnostics by integrating a long-term supplier into its product portfolio; the transaction is expected to close by February 28, 2022.

Kouza Capital / Kouza Management Acquires Empire Precision Plastics

Kouza Capital, via affiliate Kouza Management, has acquired Empire Precision Plastics (EPP), a Rochester, New York-based manufacturer of precision injection-molded and optical plastic components. The transaction transferred 100% of Empire's equity to Kouza, which said the acquisition will create supply-chain synergies with its portfolio and support Empire's growth; terms were not disclosed.

The Heico Companies Acquires Precision Engineering

The Heico Companies has completed the acquisition of Precision Engineering, a Uxbridge, Massachusetts-based Tier-1 manufacturer of precision sheet metal enclosures. Precision will join Heico’s Thermal Solutions Segment (TSS), expanding TSS’s capability to offer high-precision sheet metal–based thermal enclosures and peripherals to aerospace/defense and critical industrial OEMs.

Pexco LLC Acquires Precise Aerospace Manufacturing, Inc.

Pexco LLC, an Odyssey-backed specialty plastics processor based in Atlanta, acquired Precise Aerospace Manufacturing, Inc., a Yorba Linda, California-based precision plastics molder and contract manufacturer. The deal (advised by Houlihan Lokey for Precise) expands Pexco’s injection molding and high-performance polymer capabilities, adds a West Coast manufacturing site (its 13th), and strengthens its position in aerospace, defense, medical and electronics end markets.

Boulden Holdings, LLC Acquires Ace Precision Industries, Inc.

Boulden Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company of Edgewater Growth Capital Partners V, L.P., has acquired Ace Precision Industries, Inc., a family-owned precision machining business based in Akron, Ohio. The acquisition adds precision machining and hydrodynamic bearing capabilities to Boulden's wear-components platform, increasing capacity and creating cross-selling opportunities across aerospace, medical and transit end markets.

Trive Capital Acquires AceCo Precision Manufacturing; Integrates with NxEdge Platform
