NortonLifeLock has completed its previously announced acquisition of Avast, combining the two consumer cyber-safety businesses into a single public company. The transaction paid Avast shareholders a mix of NortonLifeLock shares and cash and will delist Avast from the London Stock Exchange; the combined company will operate under NortonLifeLock (pending a future name and ticker change).
